About Will

Based in New Zealand, Will works as a freelance adventure photographer and alpinist. He is also the founder and president of the Hazelbrook Cat Shelter in Sydney, Australia.

His trips often include big wall climbing in Yosemite, ice climbing in the Canadian Rockies, alpinism in Europe, and mountaineering in New Zealand. He specializes in carrying camera gear while climbing on highly technical terrain (freeclimbing 5.12, aid climbing A4, leading ice WI6).

His work has been featured in Vertical Life Magazine and by Nauti Studios.

To support his adventures, he maintains a support van for mountaineering and biking in New Zealand, big wall climbing equipment near Yosemite, and e-mountain bike and touring equipment in the European Alps.

He shoots with a Sony A1 camera, 14-600mm prime lenses, and a Sony Airpeak drone.
